Welcome to En Meets. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the En Meets website, mobile app, and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by En Meets ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
By accessing or using En Meets, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use En Meets. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:
We reserve the right to verify your age and eligibility at any time and to suspend accounts that do not meet these requirements.
To use most features of En Meets, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information including your legal first name, last name, date of birth, gender, email address, and a verified phone number.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@enmeets.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
You may maintain only one active En Meets account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, game event waitlists, or deceive other members is prohibited and may result in permanent removal from the platform.
You agree to keep your profile information accurate and up to date. Providing false information — including a fake name, age, gender, or phone number — is a violation of these Terms and grounds for immediate account termination.
En Meets is built on mutual respect and the aloha spirit. By using our Service, you agree to:
If you experience or witness conduct that violates these standards, please report it immediately to safety@enmeets.com. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.
When you reserve a spot at a En Meets event, you are committing to attend. We plan our events around confirmed attendance numbers, and no-shows negatively impact the experience for everyone else.
For free events requiring a deposit: you will receive a full refund of your deposit if you cancel at least 24 hours before the event start time. Cancellations within 24 hours forfeit the deposit. If you attend the event, your deposit is refunded automatically within a few days. If you do not show up and did not cancel in advance, the deposit is forfeited.
For paid events: tickets are non-refundable within 24 hours of the event. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund.
We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any event at our discretion. In the event of a En Meets-initiated cancellation, all participants will receive a full refund of any fees paid.
You agree to conduct yourself respectfully at all En Meets events. En Meets reserves the right to remove any attendee who behaves in a disruptive, threatening, or inappropriate manner without refund.
Paid event tickets and membership subscriptions are processed through our payment provider. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.
En Meets and En Meets Plus memberships are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to membership benefits until then.
All refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to En Meets (such as your profile information and any feedback you provide). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
The En Meets name, logo, website design, and all content created by us are our exclusive property and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of our Service without our prior written consent.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not guarantee that events will always proceed as planned, that all attendees will be compatible, or that using En Meets will result in any particular social or romantic outcome. Social events involve interactions with other people, and we cannot control or guarantee the behavior of any individual attendee.
We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your attendance at, or inability to attend, a En Meets event.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPA SOCIAL AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion removes your personal data from our active systems within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, community guidelines, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. In cases of serious misconduct (e.g., harassment, assault, fraud), termination is immediate and permanent, with no refund of any fees paid.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and display a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of En Meets after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
